Copyright Infringement
I recently learned that a Client (not little models) was copying my images off my other blog and reproducing them. As you can imagine, this is not a good thing.
As a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), we work hard to protect our images. That’s why you see our studio stamp across our blog postings. PPA writes:
Scanners. Photo-Quality Printers. Copy Stations. Copying a professionally created image has never been easier. That’s why PPA works tirelessly to protect your copyrights and other legal concerns through education, advocacy, and when necessary, through litigation.
Copyright is a property right. Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976 (effective January 1, 1978 and amended when the USA joined the Berne Convention in 1989), photographs are protected by copyright from the moment of creation.
We will make every effort to protect our images. PPA provides us with a legal representation at no cost to us.
We love our clients and make every effort to provide beautiful, high quality images and products to you. Please respect our Copyright Protection.
